https://orcid.org/0009-0007-6136-6734 2026-05-07 eng In 1978 with the purchase of an Alpha-Micro AM-100 mini-computer, our MalacologyDepartment began electronically databasing its stations and collections. Non-molluscan taxawere dispersed to the Sections of Crustacea, Echinoderms, Polychaetes, and the MarineBiodiversity Center (MBC). Specimens in Crustacea, Polychaetes and the MBC were digitizedduring the NSF-funded DigIn (2020-2026) digitization effort and are reported here. Thecataloging followed a scheme similar to the former Allan Hancock Foundation catalogingscheme. The acronym LACM is followed by a 2- or 4- digit year indicating date of specimencollection, followed by a hyphen and a sequential number. The collection is worldwide in scope.
