Description

The Bivalves Collection at the Mayborn Museum Complex consists of over 11,000 bivalves collected over a 90 year period, with more than 90% of the specimens from Texas localities. Notable specimens in the museum’s holdings include a Lampsilis satura collected in Louisiana in 1899.
