Description

The Denver Museum of Nature & Science Amphibian and Reptile Collection is a small, but growing collection of approximately 1000 specimens primarily from the western US. The bulk of specimens are fluid-preserved, with some skeletal preparations, and associated frozen tissues. The collection grows primarily as a result of incidental bycatch from invertebrate surveys and salvage activities.
