Description

The Charles R. Conner Museum (CRCM) houses a vertebrate research collection. The collection includes specimens from around the world, but the geographic emphasis is on the Inland Northwest of the US. The vast majority of the specimens are from Washington, Idaho, and adjacent states. As of 2012, most of the (non-pickled) bird and mammal records had been entered into the computer database and are available online. Records for the pickled specimens (fish, amphibians, reptiles, and birds) will probably not be available online until 2014. UPDATE (Apr 2024): The CRCM is in the process of updating their collections and republishing as taxon-based datasets. The birds have been remove from this collection an published as a stand alone dataset (https://www.gbif.org/dataset/378c96e5-4652-4e2a-9592-74bd71798f33). Mammals and others are in process.

Data Records

The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 36,610 records.

This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.

Versions

The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.
