Description
The Biodiversity Research and Teaching Collections (formerly the Texas Cooperative Wildlife Collection - TCWC), is the natural history collection maintained by the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences, Texas A&M University in College Station Texas.

The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 264,365 records.

Collection geographic strengths are Texas, United States, Mexico, Central and South America. Aquatic holdings are strong from Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic Ocean, and freshwater locals as above.
