Description
The parasite collection of the Northern Michigan University Museum of Zoology primarily focuses on the arthropod and helminth parasites of small mammals from the Great Lakes region. It also houses a large collection of parasites collected from American pikas. The majority of parasite specimens are linked to archived host voucher and tissue specimens at NMU and other institutions.
Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 1,095 records.
